2021.12.07 11:07 SierraCarolina I really want to go on hormones, but...

Basically, I really don't want to talk to a therapist/psychiatrist whatever. I feel like it's bullshit I have to talk to anyone for a psychology thing trying to evaluate me. I don't really want to get into specifics of what it's like for me right now here, but being trans is... Its incredibly deep-rooted into my brain and I really don't see why or how a mental health doctor could help in my situation. 100% for the idea of talking to anyone who specializes in the physical process, I just don't understand why I should have to talk to a therapist at any point. Any ideas on how I can get over this so I can get on with my life would be greatly appreciated.

2021.12.07 11:07 Empty_Coke_Bottle Question in regards to the Tysabri medicine and breast feeding

My girlfriend has lived for years with MS and her symptoms are being treated by a monthly administration of intravenous Tysabri. We have now been pregnant for almost 8 months and her neurologist has changed the admission of the medicine to a 6 week interval instead of a 4 week interval. Unfortunately, he cannot give us any closure on the risks of breastfeeding while she is taking this medicine, which makes us unsure of which path to follow.
We see massive advantages to breast feeding over bottle milk but do not want to cause any harm to our future daughter by having the medicine being fed to her through breast milk. Is there anyone with experience with Tysabri and what possible effects it might have in this case??
Any help is welcomed with open arms!

2021.12.07 11:07 Inner_Feeling9453 Class moving box python

hi guys, I was given this code and I don't how to start.. This code uses a class method and I don't really get what are the objects and attributes in the class...
The code goes as follows:

Program description goes here... """ class MovingBox: """ A class for keeping track of the contents of a moving box. Items can be added to, removed from, itemized (i.e. listed), and searched from a moving box. The number of items in a box can also be queried and items can be transferred between two boxes. In the case of an error, returns None. :param (str) word: a word supposedly representing an integer value. :return: int | NoneType """ try: result = int(word) except ValueError: return None return result # NOTE! # The following functions have a second parameter whose type is always # a list containing strings, even in those cases when the list is empty. # The reason for this is that the command interface # in the main function was kept very simple: different commands # require a different number of words of user input. The main function # just stores all the extra words given after the actual command word in # the user input line in single list without worrying # if they are correct or not. This list is then passed as # a parameter to the actual command functions below. It is their # job to check that the words in the list makes sense in the context # of the command in question. def newbox(all_boxes, list_of_additional_info): """ Creates a new moving box named after the first element in the parameter *list_of_additional_info*. Hey all, just cleaning up my collection. I haven't been active in collecting anymore so I could use some spare funds for medical bills. Thanks for looking! PayPal, USPS shipping. Prices include free shipping to USA, and I would like to only sell to USA currently.

I think I bought it new and never carried it. I didn't find any wear or any problems. The box has some wear.

Brown, Flat Ground, VG-10, modded pocket clip, blade has matte appearance
The previous owner modded the OEM pocket clip so instead of being black it is that sort of raw metal look. I didn't find any wear or any problems, I don't think I used this much. The box is squished.

Spyderco Delica C11PSFG

Foliage Green, VG-10, black pocket clip, combo edge
I bought it new and carried it a few times. There is very small wear on the pocket clip. I didn't find any problems or other wear. The box has some wear. I don't know what the "AG" product code means.
$65 shipped
Spyderco Delica Limited Edition C11PBK

Black, VG-10, black pocket clip
I carried this for a while but didn't use it much. There is average wear on the pocket clip. I didn't find any problems or other wear. The box has wear. The blade has 075V designation on it.

Spydero Endura all-black
Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/lwhTatN
Black, VG-10, all-black, combo edge
I used this and carried this often. It has wear on the pocket clip, hardware, and blade from typical usage, still decently sharp! I do not have the original box for this.

2021.12.07 11:07 SomeoneRRSomething Dumb sewing design question from a non-sewing writer about re-inventing a piece of clothing.

Hope I am in the right place.
I am a writer with a question about sewing for a writing project, specifically about sewing by hand:
If you were trying to make some kind of ladies' supportive garment but you

  1. could only use natural fibers
  2. had to sew by hand with needle and thread
  3. were trying use minimal amounts of material in order to save money
  4. needed to allow allow easy nursing
  5. could not use metal wires or other forms of boning
  6. intended what you made would make manual labor more comfortable for the wearer
Then what would you sew?
Would you try to make something that lifted from the shoulder and back like a bra or choli or make something that pushed up from below like a bustier or a corset or just bind down like the ancient Greek "breast belt" may have done?
Would you go for an undergarment like a corset or bra or an over garment like a bustier or try to work something into the clothing?
What approach would you take to trying to make (what appears to me) a complex, heavily engineered, piece of clothing out of simple materials with simple tools?
Everything I have learned about the history of women's fashion and the art of sewing tells me that most ladies' supportive garments have been pretty sophisticated, difficult to make, and expensive throughout history. (Except maybe the medieval "breast bags" or the ancient "breast belts" that we do not have a full understanding of.)
And since a lot of what I am writing about is a situation where people are "re-inventing the wheel" without a lot of materials on hand, I just would like to know how you would solve this problem.

2021.12.07 11:07 Paralich12 Unpopular opinion: Phoenix is actually much more useful than it might seem

Phoenix implant, which grants passive health regeneration at the cost of 12000 caps, might seem useless as there are things like stimpacks and food, but it's actually more useful than it appears.
The main advantage of that implant is that it allows to heal while waiting, meaning free healing anywhere where you are able to wait. Out of healing items and are in the middle of clearing out a location? Go back a little, wait a couple hours and bam, ready to fight. Struggling with healing in Sierra Madre? The implant is still with you. And in hardcore mode this implant is even more useful, because without it sleeping doesn't restore your health.
The price being 12 grand is a big one, of course, but in the long run it can save even more money from much less spendings on healing supplies.
Would love to hear more opinions on that.
